Compeer CEO anticipates rapid climate shift under Biden

The CEO of farm credit institution Compeer Financial anticipates a rapid shift to climate-focused policies under President Biden.

 

And Rod Hebrink says he’s hopeful agriculture will be asked to voluntarily contribute in a market-based manner.

 

“Where agriculture has some concern is if there’s a sudden and dramatic shift in regulatory pressure or requirement and compliance (like) this is how you have to do something. That becomes much more challenging for agriculture.?/p>
